GariLynn is President of HDI Los Angeles Local Chapter and Senior Manager for Entertainment Partner’s Technology Transformation Office. The Technology Transformation Office is responsible for increasing employee engagement, improving client focus and increasing innovation time by creating highly productive, self-managed teams. She is an Information Technology Leader with over 12 years of experience managing people in fast paced environments, specializing in business relations, compliance, as well as call center and project management. She holds a BA degree in Computer Science from the University of San Diego, but decided to go the technical support route instead of the software engineer route, giving her over 24 years total IT experience dedicated to customer service, helpdesk, desktop support, system administration, and end-user training.
Tina Sarslow is a Global Technology Support Supervisor for Latham & Watkins, LLP. The 24x7 Global Technology Support Center handles over 65% of the law firm's support requests for all Latham offices utilizing a 'follow the sun' support model with analysts in Los Angeles and Manchester England.
Tina has over 20 years of technology management experience in the customer service arena including help desk, desktop support and technical training. She currently holds an HDI Support Center Manager certification, ITIL Foundations certification and is working toward the ITIL Operational Support and Analysis certification.
An Account Executive for Robert Half Technology, who provide consultative services and temporary staffing solutions within the IT Support and Development space. Arrianna has her Bachelor's degree from UCLA in Law and Education, and although only has a few professional years in the technology space, she is constantly learning and challenging new technology. As new VP of Membership she is excited to grow the program and continue to learn.
Bob is the Senior Systems Support Specialist for the Los Angeles office of the law firm of Jenner and Block. He is responsible for leading support staff in the implementation and support of the IT vision for the firm in LA. After graduating from the University of Missouri, Bob started his IT career training people how to use computers for the IBM Product Center in Kansas City where he grew up. Bob moved to Los Angeles to work for the Los Angeles Superior Court as head of Help Desk and Training. Over the last 28 years since moving to Los Angeles, in addition to the Court, Bob was IT Manager/CIO for a couple law firms, started his own consulting firm specializing in Document Management Systems as well as support and training and was a Systems Engineer for another consulting firm. His indulgences are dogs and bicycling on the weekends.
Jason has been in Enterprise IT for over 25 years in Southern California. His Service Desk Experience spans CA-NETMAN to ServiceNow. He enjoys helping the organizations he has been fortunate to work with improve their efficiency.
He also volunteers time in San Diego with several organizations that benefit youth and our military.
Joe is the Senior Service Desk Manager for Entertainment Partners located in Burbank, CA. He manages a Service Desk staff of 13 supporting approximately 1300 internal users across the country. Joe has been working in IT in some capacity since 1993. He was Director of IT and Support Operations for The Institute of Reading Development, the nation’s largest private reading school. Joe is a native Californian born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. He attended the University of Hawaii at Hilo studying Business Administration. Joe has 3 ITIL certifications as well as HDI certifications – HDI Support Center Analyst and HDI Desktop Support Manager. He now lives in Valencia, CA, with his wife, two children, and their dog.
